The short version

Where to do yoga in Malta

Most of Malta's yoga is clustered around Sliema and St Julian's, with neighbourhood studios across central Malta and a slower scene in Gozo. A single class costs around €12. Most teachers work in English and welcome visitors.

We list every provider we can verify, from heated studios to teachers on the rocks at sunrise, and we re-check them against their own published information every week. We're not a studio, and nobody pays to be here. Here's how it works.

Looking for Yoga Malta, the outdoor studio in Sliema? That's a separate business, and you'll find it here: Yoga Malta's listing.

Common questions

Where can I do yoga in Malta?
There are 37 active yoga providers across Malta and Gozo. Sliema has the highest concentration, and you'll also find studios in St Julian's, Gżira, Mosta, Naxxar, San Ġwann and Mellieħa, plus outdoor classes along the seafront.
How much does a yoga class cost in Malta?
A single class typically costs around €12. Published prices run from €10 to €25, and packs bring the cost down if you practise regularly. See the full price index.
Is there beach yoga in Malta?
Yes. Several teachers run outdoor classes on the Sliema seafront, at Riviera Bay and around Mellieħa, usually at sunrise or towards sunset. Sessions depend on the weather, so check with the teacher on the day.
Can visitors drop in to a yoga class in Malta?
Most studios welcome drop-ins, and classes are taught in English. Booking ahead is wise because many rooms are small. Studios usually lend or rent mats, but check before you travel.
Is there yoga in Gozo?
Yes. We list 10 providers on Gozo, including residential retreats. Gozo is also where many of the islands' retreats and teacher trainings take place.
What is the best yoga style for beginners?
Hatha is the usual starting point because the pace is slow and each pose gets proper explanation. Gentle or beginner-level vinyasa also works well if you prefer to keep moving.
